하나님께서는 우리를 그분의 놀라운 빛 가운데로 부르셨습니다(베드로전서 2:9).
1995년, 그 부르심에 순종하여 세워진 아가페 교회는
예배, 기도, 말씀을 통해 하나님의 사랑을 전하며,
그 빛을 세상에 비추는 공동체가 되고자 합니다.
우리는 예배로 하나님을 찬양하고,
기도를 통해 그분과 깊은 교제를 나누며,
말씀을 따라 삶의 길을 걸어갑니다.
또한, 가정예배와 제자 양육을 통해 신앙을 더욱 견고히 세우며,
믿음의 유산을 다음 세대에 전하고 있습니다.
"여호와를 찾는 자에게 좋은 것이 부족함이 없으리로다"(시편 34:10).
아가페 교회는 하나님을 찾는 모든 이에게 열려 있습니다.
함께 예배하며 그분의 은혜를 경험하고,
사랑의 여정에 동참하시기를 진심으로 소망합니다.

Founded in 1995 in response to His calling,
Agape Church is a community that seeks to share His love with the world through worship, prayer, and the Word.
Through worship, we praise God; through prayer, we deepen our communion with Him; and through the Word, we find direction for our lives.
We also strengthen our faith through family worship and discipleship training, passing down the legacy of faith to the next generation.
"Those who seek the Lord lack no good thing" (Psalm 34:10).
Agape Church is open to all who seek the Lord.

담임목사
Senior Pastor Nathan Namkung
남궁곤 목사는 고등학교 때 인격적으로 예수 그리스도를 만났고, 목회자로 부르심을 받았습니다.
남궁곤 목사는 사람들이 예수 그리스도를 알고, 사랑하고 섬기는 것에 중점을 두고, 이를 토대로 사역함으로 하나님을
기쁘게 해 드리는 목회를 지향하고 있습니다.
남궁곤 목사는 한국침례신학대학원을 졸업하고 현재는 게이트웨이신학교에서 D.Min 과정을 공부중입니다.
한국에서는 오랫동안 Awana 선교사로서 본부와 지역교회를 섬겨왔고, 원천침례교회, 캐나다 레드디어한인교회,
타코마제일침례교회에서 부사역자로 섬겼습니다.
특히 타코마제일침례교회에서는 행정목사 역할 뿐만 아나라, 설교 사역, 목장 사역, 시니어 사역 등을 담당하며
담임목회자로서의 사역을 준비했습니다.
2025년 1월부터 데이튼사랑의침례교회 담임목사로 청빙되어 사역하고 있습니다. 이후 9월 7일, 신도총회의 결의를 거쳐 아가페 침례교회와 사랑의 침례교회(DKBC)가 통합되었고, 그는 통합된 교회의 담임목사로 섬기게 되었습니다.
가족으로는 아내 남궁민희 사모와 쌍둥이 딸 리안, 조안이가 있습니다.
Rev. Nathan Namkung personally accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord in high school, and he received his calling to pastoral ministry.
His focus is on guiding people to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ, with his ministry centered on this mission to bring joy to God.
He graduated from Korean Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) degree at Gateway Seminary.
In Korea, he served for many years as an Awana missionary, supporting both the headquarters and local churches.
He has also served as an associate pastor at Wonchon Baptist Church (Korea), Red Deer Korean Church (Canada), and Tacoma First Baptist Church (WA).
At Tacoma First Baptist Church, he was responsible not only for administrative pastoral duties but also for house church group ministry, senior ministry, and other pastoral care, preparing for his future role as a senior pastor.
In January 2025, he was called to serve as the senior pastor of DKBC. On September 7, following the resolution of the congregational meeting, Agape Baptist Church and Dayton Korean Baptist Church were united, and he became the senior pastor of the newly integrated church.
He is married to Esther Namkung, and they have twin daughters, LeAhn and JoAhn.
