2025년 9월 7일 신도총회의 결의를 통해 아가페 침례교회와 사랑의 침례교회가 통합하여 하나의 신앙 공동체로 출발하게 되었습니다. 이번 총회에서는 남궁곤 목사님(Nathan Namkung)을 담임 목사로 섬기기로 결의하였으며, 예배와 사역은 사랑의 침례교회 건물을 사용하기로 하였습니다. 이번 통합은 두 교회가 주 안에서 연합하여 더욱 견고한 공동체를 이루고, 지역사회와 열방을 향해 복음을 전하는 사명을 함께 감당하기 위한 뜻깊은 결정입니다.
앞으로 두 교회는 예배와 사역을 함께하며 성도의 교제를 더욱 풍성히 누리고, 하나님 나라를 세워가는 일에 한 마음으로 헌신할 것입니다.
On September 7, 2025, by the resolution of the congregational meeting, Agape Baptist Church and Sarang Baptist Church (Dayton Korean Baptist Church, DKBC) united to begin as one community of faith. At this meeting, it was affirmed that Rev. Nathan Namkung will serve as the senior pastor, and that worship and ministries will be held at the Sarang Baptist Church facilities. This union is a meaningful step of joining together in the Lord, building a stronger community, and faithfully carrying out the mission of proclaiming the gospel to our local community and to the nations.
Moving forward, both congregations will worship and serve together, share in deeper fellowship, and devote themselves with one heart to the work of building God’s Kingdom.
